Hi Friends: I have been away for a destination wedding & helping my daughter move. It's good to get back to a bit of creativity. Here's a quick tag for the SSS challenges this past week. I used both white and black modeling paste with stencils for the stars and wish sentiment. I stamped a shooting star image with Jet Black Archival ink. Then I covered the shooting stars with Gold Viva Decor 3-D Stamp Paint and Distress Paper Mosaic Glaze to create a resist. I used the glaze on the Wish word to make it glossy. Then I used Distress Inks to color the background (Black Soot, Stormy Sky, Chipped Saphire, and Dusty Concord). I splattered some Gold Shimmer sprays over the background, then finished the tag with some coordinating fiber yarns. Thanks for taking a peek. Happy Memorial Day!
Hi friends: Today's creation is an Art Journal Page called Time to Play. It's created with modeling / embossing pastes, stencils, Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays, Prima stamps, and Prima flowers. As always, the LSG sprays look much better in person - my photos just don't capture the glimmer. Thanks for taking a peek.

Hi all: Today's creation is a tag called Be True to You. I started with a manila tag & added some tissue tape to create the tissue tape resist. I stamped the Face with Flowers Collage stamp with Jet Black Archival ink over the tissue tape. The Chitchat stickers, tag and ticket are edged with Walnut Stain Distress Crayon. Next, I colored the tag, ribbon,Chitchat stickers, ticket, and lace with distress stains and water. I embossed the dots and the words using stencils with CM Metallic Bronze paste. I added the chit chat stickers, them sprinkled the tag with some drops of the Antiqued Bronze Distress Spray Stain. I sewed the lace to the bottom of the tag, then added some accent stitching around the stamped face. I tied the ribbon, then added the ticket and charm to the tag with the Memo Pin. I die cut the Tiny Tattered Florals flowers from Prima papers, rolled and shaped them, then colored them with the same Distress stains. I added clear seed beads to the flower centers, then attached them to the tag. I wanted them to look more like glass flowers, so I covered them with Distress Paper Mosaic Glaze medium. I also wanted the stamped face to look a bit more aged, so I covered it with Distress Collage Crazing medium - you can't really see it in the photos, but it looks nice in person. Thanks for taking a peek!
Hi Friends! Happy Friday! Today's creation is a mixed media canvas wedding gift, so the colors match the happy couple's decor. I layered some paper scraps from the Prima Stationer's Desk collection on the canvas with gel medium. Before coloring with Lindy's Stamp Gang sprays (colors listed below), I used texture paste and crackle paste with some of my favorite stencils, then added the Trellis frameworks and Flourish dies cut from Grungeboard. I also added some cheesecloth to the canvas before spraying. My photo really doesn't capture the beauty of the LSG sprays - I just love their glimmery shine! I shaped some strands of silver wire into a heart shape to frame the couple. I used the same Prima papers to mat the photo and, behind it, I added some lace and ribbon colored with some of the same LSG sprays. I cut the Love movers and shapers die from Grungeboard and ran it through my Big Shot several times to cut the scalloped oval frame for it. It is colored with a base of Carmine Red 3-D Stamp Paint, then I adjusted the color to match by painting with the same LSG sprays. I added a bottle cap jewelry piece filled with beads and an attached key charm, other charms, and several flowers from my Prima stash. I used some washers and nuts from my metal stash and colored them with Vintaj patinas. There are beads sprinkled throughout the Trellis framework and the flourish. This project was tons of fun! Thanks for taking a look.
